This Refund Policy describes how refund requests are handled for the Offline Hiker mobile application ("Offline Hiker" or "the app") and the in-app purchase offered within it. By downloading, using, or making any in-app purchase in Offline Hiker, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
Offline Hiker is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. The app itself is free to download and use, with a limited number of waypoints available at no cost. Offline Hiker offers a single one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited waypoints in place of the default free limit. No other purchases, subscriptions, or paid features are offered through the app or this website.
All Sales Are Final
All in-app purchases made within Offline Hiker are final and non-refundable. By completing an in-app purchase, you acknowledge that the purchase is final and that we are under no obligation to issue a refund.
This Refund Policy does not limit or affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.
Refunds Are Handled Through Apple
All in-app purchases for Offline Hiker are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not collect payment from you directly. Payment is collected, processed, and held by Apple under Apple's own terms, including Apple's policies governing refunds and chargebacks.
As a result, any refund request for an Offline Hiker in-app purchase must be submitted to Apple through Apple's standard refund process, such as the one available at reportaproblem.apple.com or through the purchase history on your Apple device. Apple's policies, eligibility criteria, evaluation, and final decision apply to any such request.
We have no ability to issue, expedite, deny, or override an Apple refund decision. We do not accept or process refund requests through any other channel, including email, social media, or this website.
Sole Discretion
To the extent any refund, credit, or adjustment is considered outside of Apple's own refund process, the granting, denial, amount, timing, and form of any such refund are at our sole and absolute discretion. We may decline to issue a refund for any reason, or for no reason, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this Refund Policy creates any obligation, expectation, or right to a refund, and no statement, communication, or course of conduct on our part should be interpreted as a waiver of this discretion.
